    ABOUT HIJADETUPADRE

    Hi I’m Nena, this is the face behind the brand.  I started HIJADETUPADRE in 2018 with NOTHING. we started with only coffee mugs & now we have got into a little bit of your everyday products. from coffee mugs to stationery supplies, jewelry, everyday apparel, keychains, & more.  

    HOW WE STARTED

    Believe it or not. It started because my mom bought me a cricut for my birthday.

    these are the first things I made to have because I couldn’t afford to buy them. I made them for my family did NOT think it was going to be a business one day.

    I made a few things for my mom cousins & other family members little by little more people wanted stuff. I thought it was a cool little hobby NOTHING MORE

    3 months after I started crafting for fun my Grandma lost her battle with cancer. 💔 A week after her passing my family & I made these candles to give away during her service. It was something i didn’t think anyone would like, after I posted a picture I had 2 people ask if I could do the candles for their family members services & asked what else I offered. I didn’t have anything other than mugs I made to give out for my grandma. They loved them and ordered a few dozen, && just like that I started my own side hustle thanks to my vieja.

    Once I started printing I knew i found my passion. i LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. 


    I started almost every hobby possible None of it was a passion of mine.

    started off taking sewing classes. I was going to make custom tote bags & pillows to sell. did it for 1 year then stopped.

    after that I jumped into baking cakes cookies & other baked goods. Even took classes at Michaels.

    wasn't my thing then I started making soaps. Loved it, but also wasn’t my passion. (Still have a few penis soaps) 


    I remember my mom saying now what are you gonna start & not finish 😩😩🤷🏻‍♀️
